Privacy Policy

What we collect

When you sign in with Google, we receive:

• Your name and email address from your Google account
• Your Google profile picture (if available)
• Your YouTube channel ID and channel handle, read through the YouTube Data API using the youtube.readonly permission

We request the youtube.readonly permission for the single purpose of reading your channel ID and handle so we can confirm which YouTube channel you own. We do not read your subscriptions, watch history, comments, subscriber data, or any other YouTube data, and we never post, comment, or modify anything on your behalf. We do not request access to your Google Drive, Gmail, contacts, or any other Google services.

How we use your data

• Authentication — to sign you in and identify your account
• YouTube channel verification — to link your in-game characters to the YouTube channel that spawned them, using your channel ID and handle
• Email notifications — optional digests and updates you can control from your Email Preferences page

YouTube API Services

Zorn's Dungeon uses YouTube API Services to read your channel ID and handle. By signing in, you also agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of your information is governed by the Google Privacy Policy. You can review and revoke Zorn's Dungeon's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Limited use of Google user data

Zorn's Dungeon's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not use Google or YouTube data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the service, comply with the law, or as part of a merger or acquisition.

Iron Coins and payments

Iron Coins are an in-game currency with no cash value. If you purchase Iron Coins, payment is processed by Stripe. We never see or store your credit card number. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment transactions.

Data storage

Your account data is stored in Supabase (hosted on AWS). We use row-level security to ensure you can only access your own data. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties.

Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking cookies.

Data deletion

You can request deletion of your account and all associated data by emailing edward.heath.robinson@gmail.com. We will process your request within 30 days.

Children

Zorn's Dungeon is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
