FAQ

Wait, what is this exactly?

A fantasy RPG run live on YouTube. You roll a hero on this website, and the show drafts twelve at a time into the Bloodcage — four cages a night. Survivors can graduate to Level 1, but most won't walk out, and death is permanent. When you die, type !spawn in chat and roll again.

Do I have to pay?

No. Rolling heroes and playing is completely free. The fights play out on the livestreams — come on in and have fun!

What do Iron Coins actually do?

Iron Coins buy real advantages. Make a hero a VIP (7 coins) and it jumps the draft line, or build a custom party and hand-pick the twelve who enter the cage together. Your signup bonus covers your first VIP. Coins are never required to play.

What happens when my hero dies?

Gone for good — there is no resurrection magic. The fallen get a tombstone in the Graveyard, and you type !spawn in chat to roll a new hero.

Do I have to be online when my hero fights?

No. Every hero in the Tavern can be drafted whether or not you're watching. But the live show is where the fun is — watch the carnage as it happens, jump in the chat with the host and the crowd, and get your hero drafted first.

How do I send commands on YouTube?

A bot watches the livestream chat for bang commands (they start with "!"). Right now: !spawn rolls a new hero, and !greed or !zeal tune how hard your hero chases treasure or glory. You can also command your heroes right here on the website — move them, rename them, make them VIPs.

Why Google sign-in?

Your heroes are tied to your YouTube handle — that's how the chat bot knows which one is yours. Signing in with Google links your website account to that same YouTube identity. We never post anything to your account.
